Director and Chief Trailblazer
Brian has worked internationally in the educational, corporate and diplomatic sectors for over 15 years. He grew up in Malaysia and Singapore and has lived in Australia, the United Kingdom and New Zealand. He has consulted with a range of public and private sector organisations including: Siemens, Alstom Transport, Boehringer Ingelheim, Goodman-Fielder, Shell, BP, Heinz-Watties, The British High Commission in Wellington, The British Foreign and Commonwealth Office, Rio Tinto, AA Insurance, IAG, The Warehouse Group, Lake Macquarie City Council, Great Eastern Life, The Well Connected Alliance, The West Auckland Trusts, Fletcher Construction, Credit Suisse, Veolia and Oxfam Cambodia. Brian has coached leaders in the Well Connected Alliance, Spark, Credit Suisse, The West Auckland Trusts and Grada Recruitment.
Brian has also worked as Principal Consultant for CPP Asia Pacific in New Zealand, Regional Learning & Development Manager for the British Foreign & Commonwealth Office and Principal Psychologist for CPP Asia Pacific in Singapore.
Brian has delivered presentations at The Myers Briggs Type Indicator Conference in Singapore, The Australian Association for Psychological Type Conferences,The New Zealand Association for Psychological Type Conferences, The New Zealand Association for Training and Development Conference and at the CPP Singapore Education Conference. He has also published articles on Psychological Type for the New Zealand Association of Psychological Type Magazine, Type Type
Brian specialises in designing and launching high value-creating teams and extraordinary leaders. Using tools such as the Team Diagnostic Survey, The Myers Briggs Type Indicator, EQ-i 2.0 and The Leadership Circle 360 he helps organisational teams fast track their development and reduce unnecessary conflict. He helps leaders develop self awareness and authenticity.
He has a passion for developing experiential learning products which help teams and leaders quickly get to the heart of solutions and is the creator of the Pocket Personality Cards, an innovative toolkit for applying personality type in communication, teams, coaching and leadership.
He holds a Bachelor of Psychology with Honours, a Master of Science (Occupational Psychology) and a Postgraduate Diploma in Education. He holds coaching qualifications with Results Coaching International and with the Global Team Coaching Institute. He is an Accredited Team Coach with the European Mentoring and Coaching Council and an Advanced Practitioner of the Team Diagnostic Survey.
